This was suggested by FrostyNight98! Thank you! It's the situation where Toushirou is either a prince or a wealthy, upper-class man and Karin, through various circumstances, ends up being either his or the family's servant. Naturally she catches his eye
The background is from the Disney version of Cinderella, which I thought fitted rather well into the picture's theme. Karin and Toushirou's outfits are both from Kaicho wa Maid-sama, which is a superly super cute anime! As for Toushirou's hand being such a weird colour, it's because he's wearing gloves.
